Former first lady Michelle Obama posted a message to her social media accounts lamenting about how the last couple of months of the year have been โdifficult,โ which appeared to be a reference to the outcome of the November election.
โI know itโs been a difficult few months for so many of us โ and folks are feeling a little bit anxious and uncertain. But this holiday season, there are plenty of reasons to stay hopeful,โ she wrote.
โSo as 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to share some reflections on the work the @ObamaFoundation is doing to lift up the young changemakers around the world. Take a look,โ she added.
Meanwhile, viewers of former President Barack Obamaโs speech at the Obama Foundationโs 2024 Democracy Forum last monthย caughtย ย him during a โtellingโ moment as he made a series of claims about Republicans that are more aligned with his own Democratic Party.
Some observers even claimed that things the 44th president said would be considered wild conspiracy theories and โfalse claimsโ of โelection fraudโ were they uttered by a GOP figure.
Others ripped the former president for what they saw as blatant hypocrisy as he accused members of the Republican Party of doing things that Democrats have done when they are in power, such as โweaponizingโ the Justice Department and โpoliticizingโ the military.
โPluralism depends on everyone following a certain set of rules,โ Obama said during the speech. โWhat happens when the other side has repeatedly and abundantly made clear they are not interested in playing by the rules?โ
โThere are going to be times potentially when one side tries to stack the deck and lock in [pause] a permanent grip on power,โ Obama said at one point, as he appeared to realize in mid-sentence that he was treading closely to exposing himself and his partyโs future political plans.
โEither by actively suppressing votes, or politicizing the Armed Forces, or using the judiciary, criminal justice system to go after opponents,โ he continued. โAnd pluralism does not call for us to just stand back and say, โwell, Iโm not sure thatโs OK,โโ he continued. โIn those circumstances, a line has been crossed, and we have to stand firm and speak out and organize.โ
Several people took to social media to call out Obamaโs rhetoric, much of which sounded to them a lot like what the outgoing Biden-Harris administration did.

Former โHerculesโ actor Kevin Sorbo said that Obama โ[a]lmost broke character for a sec.โ
Conservative media figure Collin Rugg responded to Sorbo by noting that the โpause was telling.โ
Obama reportedly had a big hand โ along with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi โ in forcing President Joe Biden to abandon his reelection bid following his horrific June debate with now-President-elect Donald Trump.
Actor George Clooney, a close friend of the 44th president, is reportedly angry at the 44th president and feeling used after he wrote an op-ed over the summer encouraging Biden to step down.
โGeorge is furious with Obama for disappearing after the election disaster and leaving him holding the bag for pushing the plan with his Hollywood pals,โ an unnamed entertainment industry source close to the A-list actorย told RadarOnline in December.

โGeorge feels duped and vows heโs not going to be anyoneโs political water boy anymore,โ another source told the outlet.
Obama reportedly โapprovedโ the article to put pressure on his former running mate.
Also, Vice President Kamala Harris is not planning to โgo quietly into the nightโ after she was thumped in the 2024 presidential election.
During a segment on CNN, reporter Isaac Dovere revealed that Harris privately tells backers she is considering running for governor of California in 2026 or president in 2028. Harris also reportedly does not want her โfinal actโ to be certifying Donald Trumpโs election victory over her.
โWe havenโt seen or heard much from Vice President Kamala Harris since she lost the election last month,โ CNNโs Manu Raju told CNNโs viewers. โBut the Democratic Party still reeling from Trumpโs victory.โ
