ICONIC MILESTONE: Susan Boyle Turns 60 – Rare Childhood Photos of BGT Star Unveiled in Celebration. These newly released images offer a rare glimpse into the childhood of the woman whose voice stunned the world — a beautiful reminder of just how far she’s come
UNSEEN childhood snaps of Susan Boyle have been released to mark the singer’s 60th birthday.
The Britain’s Got Talent icon is celebrating the milestone with a cup of tea and cake at home in Blackburn, West Lothian.

She had hoped to enjoy a lavish bash with loved ones but due to lockdown restrictions it will just be a couple of close pals who are part of her bubble.
And it may be her birthday, but it’s SuBo’s fans who have been given a treat with some adorable throwback snaps to mark the big day.
A post on the global singing star’s official Facebook page read: “Celebrating your 60 years with a little trip down memory lane.
Susan Boyle wants to release new music THIS YEAR
“Happy Birthday Susan.”
It comes as the birthday girl revealed she has no plans to hang up her microphone anytime soon.
Susan told the Scottish Sun: “It’s quite a milestone, I’m surprised I’ve reached it! When they start sending you things like bus passes you think, ‘Wait a minute’.

“But it’s like any other birthday — exciting. There’s not a lot I can do because of Covid but I’ll be planning a party when it’s over.
“And I’m definitely not retiring, that’s for sure. I’m going to hang on for dear life to what I do.”
The singer is now planning a bash when lockdown ends and it’s safe to celebrate.
She said: “I had a big party for my 50th and would have liked to have done the same for my 60th but can’t because of Covid. As soon as it’s safe to do so, I’d like to organise a party, and have a few friends and family around to celebrate.

“I’d also love to give my family and all the kids a cuddle. That’s something I’ve missed more than anything, just being able to give a good hug to those you love.
“I’ve been in a bubble with my brother John and PA Geraldine so I’m lucky that I’ve not been on my own.”
She added: “I share my birthday with Phillip Schofield and Chris Evans so it’s a nice wee club.”

And as for the perfect birthday gift, there’s something even the millionaire singer can’t afford.
Giggling Susan said: “Can I adopt Justin Bieber? He’s eye candy. In all seriousness I’d love to perform with him one day.”
SuBo has enjoyed 12 years of fame after her iconic Britain’s Got Talent audition made her an overnight star.

And Susan says not being able to perform has been the worst part of lockdown.
She said: “I’ve missed singing. It makes me happy and is very therapeutic as well.”
