Simon Cowell has become embroiled in a furious row with one of his neighbours over parking, with the X Factor mogul saved by police after the neighbour threatened Simon with a golf club, it has been reported.

The fight is said to have erupted on Tuesday night in their exclusive Kensington cul-de-sac, with the neighbour warning Simon that he will smash up his expensive cars as he yelled: “I’ve had enough”.

Speaking to The Sun, the neighbour continued his rant, saying: “I wrote a sign on my door saying, ‘Please do not park in front of my house’ and they still did it.

“But I’m always unhappy with Cowell – he’s a t**t. Who is he? Some prat – the X Factor guy? I lost my temper last night and I’ll do it again – do not park near my frontage. It happens every night.

“I don’t give a s*** about him, I hate him… I’m sick of his face.”

Will Lloyd, who witnessed the altercation, added to the publication: “I was gobsmacked. I have never seen anything like it.

“This bloke was properly furious. He was going crazy. It was scary – he was absolutely ranting while waving a golf club about. He started screaming, ‘What is he even famous for?’”

Simon’s security team were unable to defuse the situation, leading to the police being called, with officers managing to calm the neighbour down.
